Privacy Policy

This page explains what YTMP4.cloud handles when you use the site, why we handle it, and what you can ask us to do about it. There are no accounts here, and the only thing the converter needs from you is the YouTube link you paste.
What we receive
When you paste a link, we send it to our converter service so it can look up the video and prepare the file you choose. That link is the only content you give the converter.
Like any website, our servers and the network in front of them also see technical details with every request: your IP address, browser and device type, the page or file requested, and the time. We use these records to deliver the site, spot abuse and fix faults.
If you email us, we receive your address and whatever you write. We use it to answer you and keep it while we deal with your request.
We do not ask for your name, email address or payment details to use the converter.
Other companies involved
YouTube. When you paste a link, your browser asks YouTube for the video title and channel name and loads the thumbnail from YouTube's image servers. YouTube sees your IP address and browser details in those requests, and Google's privacy policy covers what it does with them.
Cloudflare. The site is delivered through Cloudflare, which handles requests on the way in to protect the site and speed it up. Cloudflare may set a security cookie to tell visitors from bots.
Our hosting provider. The files and the converter service run on servers we rent. The provider operates the machines but does not use the data in your requests.
Cookies
The site does not use advertising or tracking cookies and has no sign-in. Apart from the security cookie Cloudflare may set, we store nothing in your browser to follow you around. If we add analytics or ads, we will say so on this page before they go live.
How we use information
We use what we receive to:
- prepare and deliver the file you asked for;
- keep the service running and block abuse such as automated bulk requests;
- answer your emails;
- meet legal obligations when a valid request requires it.
We do not sell personal information.
How long we keep it
Server records and prepared files are kept only as long as we need them to run and protect the service. Emails stay in our inbox until your request is settled and a reasonable time after.
Your choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to how we use it. Write to [email protected] and tell us what you want. We may need to confirm the request comes from you, and we will tell you if the law stops us from doing what you ask.
Children
The site is not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you think a child has sent us something, email us and we will remove it.
Changes to this policy
When we change this page, we update the date at the top. If the change affects how we use your information, we will make that clear on the page.
