MP3 conversion problems
If a conversion stops or the file does not play, check the link and try the steps below.
The link is not accepted
Copy the full video link from YouTube again. Check that the address is complete and points to a YouTube video.
The MP3 has no sound
Try the conversion again. If the service offers another audio quality, select it and make a new file.
The file will not play
Check that the download finished. Try opening the file in another audio player and confirm that the extension is .mp3.
Conversion is taking a while
Long videos can take longer to process. Keep the browser tab open while the service is working.
320 kbps is not available
The source audio or conversion service may not offer that bitrate. Choose Best available or another listed option.
I cannot find the MP3
Check Downloads on Android, Windows, Mac and Chromebook. On iPhone or iPad, check the Files app.

How do I convert a YouTube video to MP3?

What is the highest MP3 bitrate?
The selector shows the bitrates the conversion service supports, such as 128, 192, 256 and 320 kbps. The highest one you can choose depends on the source audio, because a conversion cannot add detail the original does not have.
Does 320 kbps always sound better?
No. A higher bitrate can preserve more detail when the source contains it, but it cannot restore detail missing from the original audio. It also creates a larger file.
Can I convert a YouTube Shorts link to MP3?
Paste the Shorts URL in the same field. Whether the conversion service accepts that link depends on its support for Shorts.
Can I convert a playlist to MP3?
Playlist conversion is a separate feature. This page is set up for one video link at a time, and batch MP3 downloads are not confirmed.
